Textile MasterClass with KellySeveral Customers over the years have asked if I could transfer all I’ve learned in 30+ years of full time quilting and sewing from my brain to theirs. Well, here’s your chance! I’m teaching a class at CSU in the Nancy Richardson Design Center, which is like an amusement park for makers! They have all the dream equipment, from fabric printers to laser cutters to a 16 needle embroidery machine – and it’s all there for you to use!! We’ll cover a TON – design, piecing, file prepping for laser cutting, sewing, quilting, applique, dimensional work, embellishment and about a zillion other things. We’ll also have some great artists and speakers from the textile world.

You don’t need to be a student – you can take this class as a guest and, as icing on the cake, when you take one class in RDC, you have access to all areas (with some additional training required) – including metal and wood shops, 3-D printing & more.

The class starts January 18th in Room 121 and will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5:50. You will be able to access the lab at any time during open hours.

To register as a guest, go here. Guest registration starts Friday, January 14th. Questions or problems? Call them at 970-491-6909 or email at admissions@colostate.edu. If you have issues registering, show up anyway and we’ll try and help you through the process.
